Mark is a triple threat option for his offense, an exciting one at that. The first thing that caught my attention is his selflessness. Mark is a solid stalk blocker who’s willing to put his body on the line for the success of his team. This is a rare trait that we don’t see at the youth and college level. This speaks volumes on Mark’s character. I took notice of his ball protection. Mark has a solid grasp of the 5- points of contact, he takes care of the ball. Mark has good vision as a runner as well. He can change planes quick, then have the ability to attack the lane. Mark’s best skill is his ability to be utilized in the pass game. This adds another dimension to any offense. Putting a skilled RB one on one with a LB is a match-up nightmare for the defense. His hands are gold. This all leads to his solid production, with an average of 6.5 yards per carry and 9 touchdowns. I like Mark’s upside.

I’ve noticed a few things while watching film on Mark. Here are some tweaks Mark can make to elevate his game to the next level. Mark has a tendency of running too high. This applies to coming out of his stance, standing straight up while receiving the hand-off and attacking the lane. This takes away from Mark’s explosiveness. I’d like to see Mark lower his center of gravity by bending at the waist and in the knee area while running. Mark’s size as a RB can slightly hurt him. This is a natural stage for all RBs. He’ll naturally grow into his body and as Mark integrates a weight training program, this will only expedite his growth. Overall, I like Mark’s potential. He shows promise and continues to produce. His stock is steadily rising.
