The Top 100 leaderboards for Youngstars and Middle School are only to show who had the best times or scores for the test performed. It is to give recognition to those who tested well during the camp. If your child has the best score, it does not mean they have the number one player ranking. It means he had the best score of the day for that drill. Player Rankings come out at the end of the season. These camps allow us to create a watch list for us to know who to go see during the season. The Watch list will not have players ranked 1-100 for their age group, it will be a list of names in the age bracket for who we have our eye on. If your child is on the list, it does NOT guarantee that he will be on the Top 100 at the end of the year. It means we will be watching him. If your child does not make the watch list, it does NOT mean he won’t make the list at the end of the year. We evaluate the entire season so if your child did not test well on the combine day, it is not a knock on your kids athletic ability. Parents, please encourage your kids to have FUN and COMPETE. We know these drills are new to many of them, so take the information and work with your kids over the summer. Again we are trying to prepare our kids for the next level with these combines. The more they are exposed to it, the better prepared they will be when they get to high school and compete at college camps!
