Collin Forest is a #RNRCERT1FIED young playmaker out of Georgia and the primary play caller for the Harlem Bulldogs. Collin is one of the most impactful players on the field, consistently putting his imprint on games with both his decision-making and athleticism.
He’s really beginning to hone his craft at quarterback. Compared to last season, his mechanics show improvement, highlighted by a tighter spiral and increased velocity on his throws. Collin demonstrates confidence delivering the ball into tight windows and generally makes the correct read. When plays break down, he has the athletic ability to escape pressure and extend plays with his feet. In critical moments, he’s the type of quarterback coaches trust — whether it’s calling his number on QB power or lining him up in a wildcat look.
One of Collin’s most impressive traits is his effort and resilience. After throwing an interception, many young quarterbacks disengage from the play — not Collin. With no whistle blown, he chased down the defensive back and stripped the ball away, turning a negative into a positive through sheer determination. That type of motor and competitive fire separates him from his peers. He plays to win and competes until the final whistle.
Collin has considerable upside, but there are two areas that raise legitimate questions. The first is his size. At 4’11” and 78 pounds, his stature may limit certain play-calling options and brings durability into question when facing larger athletes. The second concern is the level of competition. On film, Collin often appears a step or two faster than most players on the field, making it difficult to consistently gauge how his game translates against higher-level competition.
Last season, flashes of his overall athleticism were evident when he was flexed out at wide receiver and saw snaps at defensive back. He shows smooth change of direction and solid acceleration, which allow him to break effectively at DB and come in and out of routes efficiently as a receiver.
While there is still room for growth, Collin Forest possesses a strong set of intangibles — toughness, competitiveness, and football IQ — that project well long term. With continued development, he has the tools to become one of the more athletic and dynamic prospects in the Class of 2033 out of Georgia.
