Name: Josiah Cobbett
Class: 2028
Position: RB
Skinny:
If smooth is fast was a person, you’re looking at him! Josiah is a special talent at RB and I love the way he plays the game of football. For years, RBs have relied solely on speed and strength to be able to be productive on the field. Times are changing and Josiah shows that it takes more than just those two skills to be effective. The number one thing that I admire about Josiah is how he trusts his O-line. He allows them to lead the way and gives credit every single time. Josiah has excellent vision and the ability to see five moves ahead. He knows that if a lane closes, he can see it, change direction then accelerate. He has elite agility and showcased this with his jump cuts and crowd pleasing jukes during the Supershowcase game. Josiah is fast and has exceptional breakaway speed to take it to the house. Another thing is his ball security, Josiah has all 5 pressure points down pact which makes him a reliable RB. He’s a silent Assassin and his game is super smooth.
Name: Chase Arnold
Class: 2027
Position: DE
Skinny:
One word….RUN! This young man is a terror coming off the edge. As one of the premier edge rushers in the country, QBs beware. Chase is a long athlete with extraordinary athleticism. I love how he sets up his opponents. Chase does well with the rip and spin moves, two of the more exotic moves to attempt. He keeps a low center of gravity that gives him the explosiveness to get under the tackle. His tackle pursuit is outstanding, giving Chase the ability to play sideline to sideline. That’s scary good. Chase is also patient when the ball is away from his side, help side defense is vital to the defensive unit. He caused havoc all game during the Supershowcase game, racking up a couple of sacks on a very elusive QB.
Name: Jackson Stecher
Class: 2028
Position: QB
Skinny:
When I watch Jackson play, it’s like an artist with his paint brush, a masterpiece. He has a cannon for an arm but what I like most is his accuracy to go along with it. Jackson drops dimes with the best of them. I love how quick he gets the ball out of his hands. This shows me that Jackson knows his progressions very well. When Jackson is in rhythm and has all his cleats in the ground he’s extremely lethal. His ball placement is exceptional. Don’t sleep on Jackson though, he’ll hurt you with his legs. It’s the best kept secret. I also like how poised Jackson is around the clock, a natural born leader. He’s like a mailman, delivering strikes all over the field. The scary part is, he’s only going to get better.
Name: George Blount III
Class: 2031
Position: QB
Skinny:
The evolution of the QB position sets forth a promising future. George is the definition of a hard worker. The unquestioned leader of the team, he’s the first one in and the last one out. His arm talent is impressive, as George can stretch the field beyond imagination. His number one skill to me is his ability to operate in the pocket, although he’s very mobile. When he gets in rhythm, he stays hot for the rest of the half. George is a pocket deadeye, meaning that his accuracy is outstanding when he’s on platform. George understands that the ball needs to be distributed to his playmakers. On the ground, George is a powerful runner. If you’re in his way, he will run you over. George was calm, cool, and collected, all while showcasing his excellent awareness during the Supershowcase game.
Name: Dearil McCellion III
Class: 2031
Position: MLB
Skinny:
See ball, get ball! Dearil is one of my favorite MLBs to watch play football. His ability to locate the ball, meet the runner in his front yard, then finish the tackle is uncanny. I love his ability to play sideline to sideline as well. His technique is exceptional, allowing him to get into picture perfect position on every tackle. Dearil has elite agility and speed, making him a very active playmaker. He’s a big hitter, so the ball carrier better make sure his chin strap is buckled. There’s no running the ball on his defense, he won’t allow it. Often the first one on the scene, Dearil makes the stop before the ball carrier can get back to the line of scrimmage. His tackle pursuit is a masterpiece, the example of how it should be done. Dearil racked up a boatload of tackles during the Supershowcase game. Putting the the entire country on notice, that a new sheriff is in town.
Name: Bentley Delaune
Class: 2031
Position: QB
Skinny:
The art of the pure passer has dissipated ever since the inception of the zone read and the dual threat QB. Bentley is a perfect combination of both. He’s one of the more accurate QBs in the country and he makes it look effortless. He’s a midrange deadeye, punishing defenses for making the wrong decisions. I like his confidence to throw on the run, setting himself apart from his fellow peers that play QB. I love his IQ and awareness. Bentley does well with his pre snap reads and adjustments which is a credit to work ethic. He’s always thinking five moves ahead. I love how Bentley doesn’t fold under pressure, instead he welcomes it and uses it as motivation. Going up against a QB with this mindset is a scary feeling for any defense. Bentley is always on a mission. He was surgical in the Supershowcase game.
Name: Christian Williams
Class: 2031
Position: CB
Skinny:
Christian is a premier lockdown CB. He’s a long athlete with unlimited range. He’s extremely fast and agile. I love his technique, he’s able to read the hips of the WR and he knows exactly when to break on the ball. Christian is an elite jumper who can high point the ball with the best of them. He reminds me of a young Champ Bailey, quick, technically sound, and an all-world athlete. He can effect the game on offense as well from the RB position. He isn’t afraid to tackle either. This is someone who you would want to start as a CB because he’ll get the job done. Christian locked his side of the field down during the Supershowcase game.
Name: Derrion Hill
Class: 2031
Position: ATH
Skinny:
When Derrion first hit my radar I was amazed by what I saw on film. This young man is a pure playmaker. Seeing what he can do in person amazed me even more. During the Supershowcase game, he was in on every single tackle. He showcased his high IQ and ability to recognize the play that the offense was running. Derrion is an elite tackler as well, allowing nothing to get to his outside shoulder. On offense, he’s an explosive RB that can take over a game at the blink of an eye. Derrion is a Swiss Army knife
