Jayden Tyus made an undeniable statement at the RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Showcase held at Syracuse University, where the Class of 2030 standout proved why he’s one of the most complete defensive backs in the country. A former OG Duck and current Arizona representative, Tyus set the tone early and kept his foot on the gas all weekend long—ultimately earning him Overall MVP honors.

Tyus showcased elite versatility in both press and off-man coverage. His footwork was clean, his hips fluid, and his spatial awareness beyond his years.

Ball Skills & Instincts (9.7/10):

What separated Tyus from the rest of the DBs was his feel for the game. He consistently jumped routes, timed passes with anticipation, and displayed soft hands in traffic. His ability to diagnose plays before they unfolded and close with aggression made quarterbacks hesitant to even test him.

Amari Dorsey –

ATH |

Class of 2030

| BGC Lions (MI)

Event: RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase – Syracuse University

Measurables: 6’1”

| ATH |

Class of 2030

Status: Top Performer • Verbal Offer: Syracuse

Evaluation Summary:

Amari Dorsey walked into the RNR Top Dawg Syracuse Middle School Showcase with expectations sky-high—and somehow managed to exceed them. Already regarded as one of the nation’s top wide receivers in the Class of 2030, the 6’1” standout from Detroit’s BGC Lions program used the platform to showcase just how complete of a player he is on both sides of the football.

Offensive Impact (WR):

From the jump, Dorsey made it clear he wasn’t ducking competition—he embraced it. In 1-on-1s, he faced physical, high-level DBs and, although he dropped a couple reps early, he bounced back with a vengeance. His elite leaping ability and wide catch radius made him nearly unguardable in the red zone. Dorsey repeatedly showed why he’s considered one of the best at high-pointing the football in the country. While his route tree could use some polish, his ability to separate late in routes and win at the catch point was on full display.

Defensive Impact (DB):

Where Dorsey truly separated himself was on the defensive side of the ball. His long frame and elite instincts made him a nightmare in coverage. In 1-on-1 matchups and Day 2’s 7v7 play, he flat-out dominated—recording four interceptions and multiple pass breakups. His WR background gave him an edge in tracking the ball, and he played with a physical edge that disrupted routes at the line. His length allowed him to close windows fast and erase space, making QBs think twice.

Intangibles & Overall Stock:

Quiet off the field but electric between the lines, Dorsey is the type of player who leads with his game. When challenged, he doesn’t flinch—he levels up. That mental toughness, combined with elite physical tools, made a strong impression on college coaches in attendance. Most notably, Syracuse Head Coach Fran Brown offered Dorsey a verbal scholarship following his performance, a testament to the kind of elite upside he brings.

Scout’s Take:

Dorsey isn’t just a Top 100 guy anymore—he’s making a strong case for the No. 1 overall spot in the Class of 2030. Offensively, he’s a matchup problem. Defensively, he’s a lockdown force with turnover instincts. His performance at Top Dawg Syracuse put everyone on notice.

Projection:

5️ ATH prospect with Power 5 upside on both sides of the ball. One of the most complete middle school players in the country.

Jordan Jenkins

 | QB |

Class of 2030

| MAC Dolphins (NC)

Event: RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase – Syracuse University

Height/Weight: 6’1” | 165 lbs

Evaluation:

When it comes to high-ceiling quarterbacks in the Class of 2030, Jordan Jenkins continues to push the bar higher with every opportunity he gets. The North Carolina product out of the MAC Dolphins program arrived at the RNR Top Dawg Showcase in Syracuse not just as a name to know—but as thename to circle.

From the opening drills, Jenkins separated himself with poise and maturity beyond his years. The ball came out of his hand with elite timing and anticipation. His quick release and ability to reset his feet under pressure stood out in the positional work. Even more impressive, Jenkins showed complete command during whiteboard IQ sessions, where his ability to diagnose coverages and discuss route combinations showed how advanced his football mind already is.

On Day 2, once the 7v7 competition kicked off, Jenkins took full control. Despite throwing to unfamiliar receivers, he never missed a beat—leading drive after drive with pinpoint accuracy and clean footwork in the pocket. He displayed a deep understanding of timing routes and progressions, and threw with velocity, touch, and confidence at every level.

Coaches across the field took notice—including Syracuse Head Coach Fran Brown, who spent time personally speaking with Jenkins and his family post-event. By the conclusion of the showcase, Jenkins had earned a verbal college offer and was officially named the #1 Quarterback Performer at the entire event.

Scouting Highlights:

  • Elite Measurablesfor his age (6’1”, 165 lbs), physically ready to compete at the varsity level.
  • High football IQwith calm, coachable demeanor and strong leadership traits.
  • Quick release, clean mechanics, and excellent anticipation in the passing game.
  • Stood out in live reps, especially during 7v7 competition, elevating the play of others.
  • College-ready poiseand presence, already drawing Power 5 attention.

Projection:

Jordan Jenkins has all the tools to be one of the premier quarterbacks in the nation by the time he reaches high school. With his current trajectory, frame, and work ethic, he’s not only a future varsity starter but a prospect who will draw national recruiting attention before he takes his first high school snap.

Name: Austyn Lawrence

Position: Quarterback

Team: BGC Lions (MI)

Measurables: 6’2”, 176 lbs

Class: 2030

Evaluation:

Every showcase reveals a few surprise prospects — kids who don’t just seize their moment, they create it. That’s exactly what Austyn Lawrence did at the RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase in Syracuse.

A true underdawg story, Lawrence’s path to QB1 wasn’t typical. For much of his early youth football career, his frame had him boxed in on the line — far from the spotlight of signal caller. But after just one year of playing quarterback, the BGC Lions product is already turning heads, and at Syracuse, he proved why he belongs in the national conversation.

Standing a legit 6’2” with a projectable frame, Lawrence has Sunday-level arm talent. Whether it was deep outs, tight-window slants, or over-the-top seams, he showed he can rip it from the pocket with confidence. His ball comes out hot, clean, and with purpose — and most impressively, he never shied away from testing coverage. In the 7v7 period, he connected on a handful of NFL-style throws that left coaches shaking their heads in disbelief. You can’t teach that kind of arm talent — and you certainly can’t ignore it.

While Lawrence is still learning the finer nuances of the position — pocket timing, progression reads, and field generalship — his ceiling is massive. His quiet demeanor early on gave way to flashes of leadership once he settled in, and his eagerness to soak up coaching was noted by multiple evaluators.

Detroit has quietly become a pipeline for elite QB talent, and Austyn Lawrence has the tools and trajectory to be the next name in that lineage. It’s no surprise he walked away from the Top Dawg event with a verbal offer from the University of Syracuse — one of the first dominoes in what could be a breakout recruitment.

Keep this name circled. The arm is rare. The growth is real. The underdawg is rising.

Name: Jace Connelly

Position: Defensive End

Team: MAC Dolphins (NC)

Measurables: 6’2” – 190 lbs

Class: 2030

Evaluation:

When the dust settled at the Top Dawg Middle School Showcase, there was no denying who controlled the trenches—Jace Connelly. The MAC Dolphins standout was simply dominant over the two-day span, and his name quickly echoed across the field as the most disruptive defensive force in attendance.

Standing at a lean and athletic 6’2”, Connelly combined length, motor, and elite closing speed to wreak havoc off the edge. His long strides and lateral quickness allowed him to cover ground fast, whether crashing down the line or chasing in pursuit. From the first rep of 1-on-1s, it was clear Connelly was on another level. Offensive linemen had trouble containing his first step—explosive, timed perfectly, and full of bad intentions.

While most rushers his age rely on raw athleticism, Connelly flashed hints of technical potential—winning with leverage, hand usage, and an understanding of angles. And what makes him even scarier? He’s far from a finished product. With time and development, especially in expanding his pass rush arsenal beyond speed and instinct, Connelly could become a true hybrid—capable of playing both as a stand-up edge backer or a traditional hand-in-the-dirt DE.

Perhaps most impressive was his motor and maturity. He didn’t just win reps—he competed on every snap, taking coaching and applying adjustments. That coachability, paired with his physical tools, makes his ceiling incredibly high.

Performance Highlights:

  • Overpowered multiple top OL prospects in 1-on-1s
  • Rarely gave up ground in team periods
  • Used length effectively to shed blockers and maintain edge integrity
  • Earned a verbalcollege offerdirectly from the University of Syracuse’s defensive line coach following his showcase MVP performance

Outlook:

Connelly is tracking as a Power Five-level edge defender with long-term upside as a disruptive outside linebacker or hybrid DE. His name will be one to follow closely over the next few years as he continues to develop into one of the premier defenders in the Class of 2030.

Name: Marquise Williams

Position: OL/DL

Team: OG Ducks (CA)

Measurables: 6’2” – 250 lbs

Class: 2031

Evaluation:

When it comes to the Class of 2031 trench warriors, Marquise Williams might very well be the gold standard. The OG Ducks standout made a statement that echoed across the field at the RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase in Syracuse — no one, regardless of class or reputation, was safe when lined up across from him.

Williams looked like a man among boys with how consistently he overpowered defenders and protected his turf. In 1-on-1s, he absorbed contact with calm aggression, anchoring with a wide base and firing out with violent, controlled hands that stunned even older opponents. Despite facing 7th and 8th graders, Williams showed little to no drop-off in performance, dominating reps with a rare combination of size, power, and intensity.

On the offensive side, he played like a seasoned veteran — showing advanced instincts in his get-off, hand placement, and the ability to redirect defenders with ease. He played with a chip on his shoulder, clearing space and pancaking defenders on command. His explosive first step, combined with a brute-force punch, gave him the edge early in every snap.

Defensively, Marquise flashed elite-level upside. Whether crashing through double teams or stacking and shedding blockers with ease, he demonstrated the kind of physical tools that make college coaches pay attention — which they did, as Syracuse’s own offensive line coach pulled the trigger on a verbal offer after watching the young lineman wreck shop.

Bottom Line:

Marquise Williams isn’t just a two-way lineman — he’s a tone setter. With frightening strength, a relentless motor, and the kind of dominance you rarely see in a player his age, he walked out of Syracuse as the undisputed face of the trenches for the Class of 2031. The scariest part? He’s just getting started.

Name: Trey Washington

Position: Running Back (RB)

Team: Las Vegas Tribe (NV)

Class: 2030

Evaluation:

If there’s one name that defined electricity at the RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase at Syracuse, it was Trey Washington. The Class of 2030 running back out of Las Vegas continues to show why he’s the undisputed top ball-carrier in the nation at his grade level. Washington brought his two-sport athleticism and dominant frame to the 2 -day national stage—and left no doubt about where he stands in the RB conversation.

From the opening testing period, Washington flashed elite-level traits: explosive burst, controlled footwork, and elite top-end speed. His lower-body strength and balance made him nearly impossible to knock off track during drill work, and his short-area quickness had defenders lunging at air during 1v1s.

Where Washington separated himself wasn’t just in the backfield—it was as a pass-catcher. During the 7v7 session, he served as the primary offensive weapon for his team, leading all backs in receptions and making multiple contested grabs in traffic. His ability to win routes out of the backfield and line up in the slot adds another dimension to his already-loaded toolbox.

Physically, Washington is built like a varsity athlete already. With a filled-out frame, powerful legs, and a high football IQ, he projects as an every-down back with college-level traits. He reads defenses instinctively, slips through creases without hesitation, and finishes runs with authority.

What impressed most was his competitive fire. He came across the country to prove he’s the best—and left with his second college offer and the respect of everyone in attendance. If you’re looking for the future of the running back position, look no further than Trey Washington.

Stock Up:

  • 2nd College Offer
  • Every-down back with 3-down versatility
  • Top overall offensive weapon in 2030 class

Verdict:

Washington didn’t just show up—he dominated. The #1 back in the Class of 2030 just keeps raising the bar.

Name: D.J. Steen

Position: RB/ATH

Team: ABA Bulldogs (GA)

Class: 2030

Evaluation:

There was no shortage of offensive firepower at the RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase in Syracuse, but few made a bigger all-around impact than Class of 2030 ATH D.J. Steen out of Atlanta, Georgia. Representing the ABA Bulldogs, Steen proved from the jump that his skillset is not only versatile—it’s elite.

Steen’s Day 1 combine numbers were eye-catching, finishing in the top 2 among all running backs tested, but it was his performance in competition that truly separated him. During the 1v1 period, he created consistent separation with quick feet, polished route-running, and natural hands. Defenders struggled to mirror him—especially when he lined up in the slot, showcasing advanced footwork and awareness uncommon for a back his age.

Day 2 saw Steen elevate even further in the 7v7 sessions, where he took over as a featured weapon, often lining up as a wideout and proving to be a dependable target his quarterback could trust. His ability to high-point balls, adjust mid-route, and run after the catch adds a dangerous layer to any offense. Steen was not just a contributor—he was a matchup nightmare.

What sets Steen apart is his ability to function as both a traditional back and a true receiver, giving his coaches maximum flexibility. He combines field vision, short-area quickness, and surprising lower-body strength, making him dangerous in space but also capable between the tackles. His shiftiness makes him a “slippery” target to wrap up, and his balance through contact hints at workhorse potential.

The staff at RNR didn’t just recognize his game-breaking ability—they confirmed his ceiling by naming him one of the event’s top offensive playmakers, and it’s no surprise Steen walked away with a scholarship offer from Syracuse University following the event. His hybrid style is built for the future of football.

Projection:

D.J. Steen is a rare dual-threat RB/ATH who can shift momentum with one touch. As he develops physically, expect him to become a national name at the high school level and a player with long-term Power 5 potential. An explosive, do-it-all athlete who’s only scratching the surface.

Prospect Evaluation: Jared Brown Jr.

Position: WR/ATH

Team: Atlanta, GA

Class: 2030

Event: RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase — Syracuse University

Evaluation:

Jared Brown Jr. entered the Top Dawg Showcase with buzz around his track speed — and left no doubts. The Atlanta native made a statement on Day 1, clocking an eye-popping 4.74 laser-timed 40-yard dash, the fastest recorded time in the entire RNR Top 100 Combine Series. His straight-line burst and elite acceleration set the tone early, drawing immediate attention from evaluators and coaches alike.

From lateral movement drills to pursuit lanes, Brown displayed fluid hips and a rare combination of top-end speed and short-area quickness. Although he’s still sharpening the finer points of his route tree, his ability to stack corners and win over the top on verticals is already college-ready.

Brown’s frame isn’t as imposing as some of the more physically dominant prospects in the 2030 class, but he compensates with fast-twitch explosiveness and natural ball-tracking skills. He showed flashes of polish as a route-runner and improved on Day 2 during 7v7 reps, particularly when asked to stretch the field and draw safety help.

While some evaluators speculate a future move to defensive back could maximize his athletic upside, Brown proved he has enough on the offensive side of the ball to remain a legitimate playmaker. His versatility as a wideout with elite speed opens up the playbook — bubble screens, jet sweeps, and deep shots all become viable options when he’s on the field.

The highlight of the weekend came when Syracuse University Head Coach Fran Brown extended a camp offer to Jared Brown Jr. — a rare nod that confirms Brown’s performance wasn’t just fast, it was next-level.

Projection:

With continued work on footwork, route precision, and building functional strength, Jared Brown Jr. projects as a high-ceiling WR/ATH who could develop into one of the most dangerous deep threats in the country for the Class of 2030. His offer from Syracuse is likely the first of many.

Name: Emanuel Woods

Position: Wide Receiver (WR)

Team: Ohio Elite Dawgs

Class: 2030

Measurables: 6’2” | Long Wingspan

Evaluation:

Emanuel Woods put the nation on notice at the RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase in Syracuse. The Ohio Elite Dawgs wideout was one of the most intriguing long-term prospects on hand, blending elite measurables with flashes of high-upside playmaking ability that turned heads—especially on Day 2 of the event.

Woods boasts a rare 6’2” frame for a middle schooler, complete with long, rangy arms that make him a consistent mismatch on the outside. His natural catch radius is elite for his age, and he showcased it throughout 7v7 competition with several highlight-worthy grabs. Coaches raved about his hands—described as “catcher’s mitts”—and his ability to haul in passes through contact or while adjusting in midair.

Though Woods had a quiet Day 1, he bounced back in a major way on Day 2. He led his 7v7 unit in receiving touchdowns, including multiple red-zone scores where he used body control and positioning to box out defenders. His route running is still in development—raw in certain areas—but you can already see polish forming in his out routes and posts. His patience at the top of routes and his ability to separate late make him especially dangerous in short to intermediate situations.

What separates Woods from the average middle school wideout is projection. With his length, strong hands, and developing footwork, his upside is through the roof. His Day 2 performance not only cemented him as a Top Performer—it earned him an early offer from Syracuse, making him one of the few Class of 2030 athletes to leave the camp with hardware and real recruiting buzz.

Projection:

Prototype X-receiver with Power 5 upside. As he continues to develop physically and sharpen his route tree, expect Woods to emerge as one of the more highly recruited wideouts in the 2030 class. Nicknamed the “2030 Slim Reaper” by coaches—Woods is just getting started.

Name: Brayden Brown

Position: Defensive Back (DB)

Team: Syracuse United (NY)

Class: 2031

Measurables: (Not listed, but showed impressive length and physical tools for his age)

Evaluation:

Brayden Brown came into the RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase as one of the youngest prospects in attendance—but by the end of the weekend, he was one of the most talked about. The Syracuse United product initially tried to make his mark as a wide receiver, but after a rocky showing, he was shifted full-time to his natural side of the ball: defensive back—and that’s where everything changed.

Brown’s growth over the two-day showcase was undeniable. Once he settled in at DB, he flipped the switch. Using his length and physicality, Brown disrupted timing routes, rerouted older receivers, and flashed the type of footwork and spatial awareness that simply can’t be coached at that age. He wasn’t just surviving against older, more physically mature players—he was competing. And by Day 2, he was winning reps consistently.

What makes Brown so intriguing is his mental makeup. He carries himself like a coach’s son—disciplined, focused, and always asking questions between drills. Every mistake became a lesson, and every rep showed improvement. His confidence grew with every snap, culminating in a string of impressive pass breakups and physical press coverage wins that drew praise from coaches on-site.

Despite being a Class of 2031 prospect, Brown walked away from the event with an early college offer from Syracuse University—proof that his performance didn’t go unnoticed by the right eyes. His ceiling is incredibly high, especially if he continues to embrace the defensive side of the ball

Bottom Line:

Brayden Brown may have entered the Top 100 Super Showcase game in February as an unknown Athlete trying to find his lane, but he left as one of the top defensive back prospects in the Class of 2031 and he did the same thing this week at the Top Dawg Middle School Showcase. He’s physical, coachable, and fearless. The switch to DB could very well be the start of something special. Keep this name circled.

Name: Dailan Samuels

Position: DB

Team: West Orlando Jags (FL)

Class: 2031

Evaluation Summary:

Dailan Samuels may carry a recognizable last name, but at the RNR Top Dawg Showcase in Syracuse, he showed he’s more than just the little brother of a college standout—he’s building a path of his own. A former 6th Grade MVP of the RNR Super Showcase All-American Game, Samuels arrived in upstate New York with expectations, and he exceeded every one of them.

From the opening whistle of Day 1, Samuels showcased his polished technique, high football IQ, and elite-level anticipation. In 1-on-1s, he consistently disrupted routes and blanketed receivers with smooth hips and controlled aggression. He played like a seasoned veteran, with a level of confidence and discipline rare for a Class of 2031 defensive back.

What separates Samuels is his natural instincts and understanding of timing. He rarely bites on double moves and displays advanced recovery speed. His performance in Day 2’s 7v7 was arguably more impressive, where he flashed versatility by playing both corner and safety. Whether reading the QB’s eyes in zone or sticking to WR1s in man, Samuels always seemed a step ahead. His football IQ, anticipation, and body control are elite for his age.

Most impressively, Samuels earned an early offer from Syracuse Head Coach Fran Brown—a testament to both his performance and his upside. With fluid movement, playmaking in space, and a quiet confidence, Samuels checks all the boxes of an elite prospect in the making.

Scout’s Take:

“Dailan Samuels has the footwork of a technician, the mindset of a leader, and the instincts of a natural ballhawk. He’s already special—and he’s only scratching the surface.”

Terron Lundy

| WR |

Duval Jags (FL)

Class of 2030 | RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase – Syracuse University

Top Performer Evaluation

Evaluation:

Duval County is no stranger to producing elite talent, and Terron Lundy just reminded the national scene that the pipeline is still flowing strong. After flying under the radar for about a year, the Duval Jags product reintroduced himself with authority at the RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase in Syracuse. What began as a modest showing in the combine quickly turned into a breakout performance once the competitive portion kicked off.

Lundy’s game doesn’t scream with flashy measurables, but it whispers with polish, poise, and playmaking. Once the 1-on-1s and 7v7 segments began, he flipped a switch—making difficult grabs in traffic, tracking the deep ball with ease, and even pulling down a jaw-dropping one-handed snag that turned heads. His body control and hands are advanced for his age, and while his route running still has room to mature, he consistently found ways to create space with subtle fakes and quick feet.

What stood out most was Lundy’s ability to adjust mid-route and make contested catches look routine. His lateral quickness in the open field and ability to make defenders miss after the catch hint at future versatility as a slot threat. He’s a technician in the making, and with continued development in short-area burst and route precision, his ceiling is sky-high.

Syracuse University coaches certainly took notice—extending an offer following the showcase and offering glowing praise for the young playmaker’s football IQ, competitiveness, and raw upside. Lundy reminded everyone that he belongs in the conversation among the top WRs in the Class of 2030.

Projection:

Lundy is a high-upside WR prospect who projects as a dynamic outside or slot receiver at the next level. With continued growth in route discipline and speed training, expect his recruiting stock to rise significantly over the next 12–18 months.

Name: Daniel Cohen

Position: ATH (Linebacker)

Team: M.O.T (FL)

Class: 2031

Evaluation:

Every showcase produces a few unexpected risers, and Class of 2031’s Daniel Cohen was exactly that in Syracuse. Representing the historic M.O.T program out of Jacksonville, FL—a pipeline known for developing gritty, high-IQ athletes—Cohen made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball, specifically at linebacker.

Though listed as an ATH, Cohen quickly separated himself from the pack with his relentless energy and scrappy approach to competition. His physicality at the point of attack was on full display, consistently jamming routes and making receivers uncomfortable. Cohen didn’t shy away from contact and thrived when matched up in space, rerouting pass catchers and showing quick recognition in short zone concepts.

What stood out the most was his effort. Even when beat, Cohen’s motor never shut off. He hunted down ball carriers with a chip on his shoulder, cleaned up broken plays, and constantly reset himself after each rep. It’s that level of mental toughness and competitive edge that earned him Top Performer honors.

While Cohen may have arrived to showcase his athleticism in a different role, his instincts, football IQ, and natural fit at linebacker turned heads across the field. He projects as a hybrid defensive threat with the flexibility to develop into a rover-type defender or even a hard-nosed safety down the line.

Showcase Grade: A-

Stock Up: Physicality, Motor, Instincts

Area to Watch: Continued development in pass coverage and lateral agility

Quote from Staff:

“Daniel Cohen is a pure effort guy. He brings that old-school linebacker mentality with a modern game. He doesn’t stop coming, and that’s the kind of heart you want on any defense.”

Name: Jace Jenkins

Position: Quarterback

Team: Mac Dolphins (NC)

Class: 2031

Event: RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase @ Syracuse University

Status: Top Performer

Evaluation:

Class of 2031 signal-caller Jace Jenkins brought his championship pedigree to the RNR Top Dawg Showcase and left no doubt why he’s already earned MVP honors on the national stage. Representing the reigning 10U National Champion Mac Dolphins, Jenkins displayed elite instincts and poise well beyond his years.

During the 1-on-1 sessions, Jenkins separated himself with advanced ball placement and anticipation skills that are rarely seen at this age. He consistently threw his receivers open, delivering strikes beforethey broke out of their routes — a trait typically associated with high-level high school or even college quarterbacks. Jenkins processed coverage quickly and wasn’t afraid to make tight-window throws with confidence.

In the 7v7 segment, Jenkins’ gamer mentality came alive. Whether it was 3rd and long or red zone reps, Jase rose to the moment with laser focus. He showcased an ability to manipulate defenders with his eyes, and his touch on layered throws stood out. Though still raw in certain mechanical areas — footwork under pressure and follow-through consistency — Jenkins compensates with high football IQ, natural leadership, and a clutch gene that can’t be coached.

What sets Jace apart is his unshakable demeanor and willingness to compete. He didn’t just play well — he elevated those around him, a trait all great quarterbacks possess. His upside is tremendous, and as he continues to develop technically, expect Jenkins to be in the national conversation for years to come.

Projection:

One of the top young quarterback prospects in the Class of 2031. With continued growth and refinement, Jenkins has early traits of a future elite dual-threat leader on the field. A natural competitor with the tools and intangibles to shine on any stage.

Name : George Blount

Position: Quarterback

Team: A&G Rattlers (FL)

Class: 2031

Event: RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase — Syracuse University

Evaluation:

George Blount, the Class of 2031 quarterback from Pensacola, Florida, made an immediate impression the moment he stepped on the field in Syracuse — and not just for his 18.5-hour road trip commitment. At 5’11½”, Blount has the prototypical size and frame for a young signal caller, but it’s the flashes of next-level arm talent and raw upside that truly set him apart from his peers during the showcase.

On Day 1, Blount attacked the competition with confidence. His improved mechanics were clear — quicker release, stronger torque from the lower body, and a much more compact delivery. During 1-on-1s, he lit up the session, throwing with zip, accuracy, and touch to every level of the field. Whether hitting timing routes or launching deep shots over the top, George consistently wowed coaches and evaluators. His ball placement, particularly on sideline throws, stood out as elite for his age group.

However, Day 2 served as a valuable learning experience. During the 7v7 competition, Blount’s belief in his arm strength led to a few risky decisions. He attempted to force passes into tight coverage and showed some growing pains reading more complex defensive alignments. While he made several strong throws, inconsistency in decision-making prevented him from dominating the session the way he did Day 1.

Still, the potential here is undeniable. Blount’s tools — size, arm strength, and natural confidence — are special. He’s a small-town kid operating without elite coaching or a high-level system, but even so, he’s emerging as one of the top young QBs in his class. As he continues to refine his processing and gains experience against top competition, his ceiling only gets higher.

Stock Up: George Blount leaves Syracuse with his stock firmly on the rise. With continued development and exposure to next-level coaching, expect him to climb in the national Class of 2031 quarterback rankings.

Summary:

George Blount is a big-armed, high-upside quarterback who flashed elite traits at the RNR Syracuse Showcase. While still raw in decision-making, his physical tools and presence in the pocket project extremely well for the next level. Keep him on your radar — this is a name you’ll hear more from in the coming years.

Name: Storm Russo

Position: Quarterback

Team: Kings County Chiefs (NJ)

Class: 2033

Evaluation:

At just a rising Class of 2033 prospect, Storm Russo walked into the RNR Top Dawg Showcase at Syracuse with poise well beyond his years—and walked out as one of the most talked about young quarterbacks in attendance.

Despite being one of the youngest signal callers on the field, Russo thrived when matched up against older competition. During Day 2’s 7v7 sessions, he commanded the offense with maturity, operating with timing, vision, and a calm sense of control in the pocket. Whether rolling out or standing tall under pressure, Storm made the correct reads and delivered the ball with confidence.

What set Russo apart was his football IQ. Syracuse staff and RNR coaches threw plenty of concepts at him, but he processed it quickly—rare for a player his age. His anticipation and understanding of coverage concepts were evident, especially when he threw into tight windows with precision. While his arm strength allows him to zip passes in the short and intermediate game, he’s still learning how to dial in his touch on deep balls and layered throws. That refinement will come with more reps and coaching, but the raw tools are clearly there.

Russo’s field demeanor was impressive—he never looked rattled, even when things didn’t go as planned. His leadership and composure elevated those around him, and he seemed right at home competing with Class of 2031 and 2032 talent.

Projection:

Storm Russo is a high-ceiling quarterback prospect with advanced instincts, a natural feel for the position, and a strong developmental foundation. If he continues to train with purpose and receive high-level coaching, he has the potential to be one of the elite QBs in the Class of 2033.

Name: Malachi Bredy

Position: ATH

Team: Sayreville Jr Bombers (NJ)

Class: 2030

Event: RNR Top 100 Top Dawg Middle School Showcase @ Syracuse University

Honors: Top Performers List | MVP – RNR Top 100 NJ Combine

Evaluation Summary:

There are athletes who show up to a showcase, and then there are athletes who take it over. Class of 2030 ATH Malachi Bredy fits squarely in the latter. Already physically mature at 5’11”, 182 lbs, Bredy walked into the Syracuse showcase with momentum after earning MVP honors at the New Jersey Top 100 Combine — and he lived up to the billing.

From the first rep, Bredy passed the eye test. A long-striding, well-built runner, he flashed running back traits with the frame of a future linebacker or hybrid athlete. While his route-running remains a work in progress, his hands and natural pass-catching ability proved effective enough to create splash plays during 1v1s and 7v7s. His ability to track the ball and make contested catches made him a mismatch against smaller defenders. And when he slipped behind the coverage on Day 2, it showed both his football IQ and speed are developing in the right direction.

What separates Bredy, though, is his mental makeup. After setbacks, he didn’t fold — he refocused. Whether it was a dropped ball or a missed assignment, Bredy bounced back with urgency, showing resilience and coachability far beyond his years. That effort, combined with his physical upside, earned him a scholarship offer from Syracuse — and rightfully so.

Projection:

Bredy’s size, athletic profile, and mental toughness make him one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2030 class. If he continues to refine his skills as a receiver or develops defensively, don’t be surprised if he grows into a Power 5-level two-way player. He’s just scratching the surface.

Stock:  Rising

Traits to Watch:

  • Size & Frame (college-ready build)
  • Versatility (RB/WR/LB potential)
  • Competitive Toughness
  • Explosive Potential at the Second Level

Final Take:

Malachi Bredy is a name to circle now — and highlight in bold later.

RNR Top 100 Spotlight: Loukas Rettas | Class of 2032 QB | 5’8” | 115 lbs

When you talk about young quarterbacks on the rise, Loukas Rettas is a name that deserves your full attention. The 11U Royal Palm Wildcats didn’t just have a good passing game in 2024—they had one of the top aerial attacks in the state, and Rettas was the engine driving it all.

Standing 5’8” and weighing in at 115 lbs, Loukas plays the position like a seasoned vet. He’s got the poise, the IQ, and most importantly—the arm. Dubbed a true field general, Rettas had a breakout season, putting up numbers that ranked Top 4 in the state in both passing yards and touchdowns. His experience in the offense kept defenses guessing, and his ability to deliver strikes with pinpoint ball placement turned routine throws into big plays.

Give him time in the pocket, and it’s game over. Rettas locks in with surgical precision, consistently putting the ball where only his receivers can get it—setting them up for chunk yardage or house calls. With a talented group of playmakers around him, Loukas kept the Wildcats’ offense wide open, and the scoreboard lit up all season.

At our RNR South FL combine he was on fire! He performed with poise and accuracy and walked away with the highest score in his division. But he’s not done yet.

Rettas, a two-sport athlete with a competitive edge, is now taking his talents to the Delray Rocks 12U for the 2025 season. His frame continues to grow, and so does his confidence and skill set. If you haven’t heard his name yet—you will. Because this rising QB is only getting better, and 2025 might just be the year Loukas Rettas becomes a household name on the youth football circuit.

Remember the name—Loukas Rettas. The next wave at quarterback is already here.
