NEW JERSEY PROSPECT JAXON SAWYER IS PUTTING IN THE WORK! 💪🏈

Class of 2031 prospect Jaxon Sawyer is a developing middle linebacker/fullback out of New Jersey who is working to establish himself at his new position.

While game footage is currently limited, Sawyer’s offseason dedication stands out. He’s been active on the camp circuit, consistently working on his movement, agility, and change-of-direction skills.

From the available film, Sawyer displays an active motor and relentless pursuit of the football. His compact frame and low center of gravity could become valuable assets when defending the run and attacking ball carriers.

Areas for Improvement: As Sawyer continues adjusting to his new position, improving his overall strength, speed, and explosiveness will be important. More game footage against quality competition will also help scouts better evaluate his instincts, tackling ability, and overall impact.

RNR SCOUTING VERDICT: Sawyer is a developing 3-star prospect with a promising work ethic and a willingness to improve. The foundation is there, but continued physical development, positional experience, and consistent game production will determine his ceiling.

👀 KEEP WORKING, JAXON! THE NEXT STEP IS TURNING THAT OFFSEASON WORK INTO GAME-DAY PRODUCTION!
