Preseason Youth Football X-Factor Report Volume 1.

September 29, 2021

Name : Gabe Kemp

Position : RB

Measurables: 5’6”-140 lbs

Class : 2028

Team : Brick City Lions (NJ) 11u

Skinny :

Gabe Kemp is a one-cut-and-go back. He is decisive, explosive and, most importantly, relentless under duress. Kemp fights through tackles and doesn’t make anything easy on the opposing defense. He is an every-down weapon out of the offensive backfield. For those who were unaware of how good this X-factor is. RDU 11u Tournament Kemp put on a show keeping his legs churning as he broke thru a crowd of defenders twice for two ESPN Top 10 plays. A force to be wrecking with Kemp hasn’t seen a defense yet that has kept him out the endzone, because trust he is like that.

Name : Ethan “Boobie” Feaster

Position : ATH

Measurables: 5’11”-151 Lbs

Class : 2027

Team : D.E.A (TX) 12u

Skinny :

Boobie is a matchup nightmare who gallops downfield with long strides and simply rises above the competition to come down with the football. He is often the tallest skill player on the field and dominates in the red zone because of his ability to secure “jump balls.”Boobie has incredibly reliable hands. He disguises routes and creates space for his quarterback to deliver the ball. His speed is on another level,I mean he does own the Jr. Olympic record in the 100 meter 11.53, as Feaster can take the top off a defense downfield or do damage with intermediate routes. For a long time, Feaster has been considered one of the top defenders in the country, now with his growth spurt and range this kid will be even more of a terror for opposing offenses. Doesn’t matter which side of the ball this kid ends up his upside is thru the roof.

Name : Sekou “Black Mamba” Kamara

Position : ATH

Measurables: 5’8”-138 lbs

Class : 2027

Team : Louisville Chargers (KY) 12u

Skinny :

Sekou Kamara plays on both sides of the ball for Louisville Chargers (KY) 12u but best translates to defense, given his overall skill set. This kids’ versatility allows him to excel at multiple positions thru out the secondary, he likely fits better at the safety position as he projects more favorably using his agility and change of direction skills to cover receivers out in space. In nickel packages, this kid plays like a man possessed seeing him sliding inside and not only lining up over slot wide receivers, but also being used as a blitzer on occasion given the physical nature of his game he plays with he is a tackling machine that makes offensive players feel his wrath.

An elite-level playmaker also at the Wide Receiver position, Kamara will need to be put in a position to make full use of his ball skills and awareness. Given his lanky physical frame, Kamara first step off the line is a blur at times with speed that can overwhelm opponents who play him too close off the snap. His straight-line quickness that he display’s can be maintained when tasked with lateral cuts or an improvisational route alteration.  Many of Kamara’s highlight plays came courtesy of high-placed balls, allowing him to utilize his expansive wingspan and top end speed. The Black Mamba is a fitting name for this X-Factor as he proves to be just that lethal, there isn’t a game this kid hasn’t taken over being the leading catalyst when it comes to extending his teams 39 game win streak.

Name : Chrys Black

Position : RB

Measurables: 5’6”-135 Lbs

Class : 2028

Team : Pitt Panthers Elite (PA)

Skinny :

Chrys Black is one of the best game breaking backs in the nation. An explosive athlete, he takes shorter strides than you’d expect from a taller runner but his turnover allows him to get up to top speed quickly to exploit open lanes and creases. Black is at his best when he is able to hit a seam and get going downhill, although he will bounce outside on occasion in an effort to use his speed. He runs with good velocity in between the tackles and finishes runs aggressively, but will need to fill out his frame down the line due to his slender build in order for that attribute to fully translate to the High School level. While the power element of his game is still evolving, the main ingredient of his skill set is his ability to consistently win footraces in the open field. A player who is more fast than quick, Black doesn’t use a vast assortment of moves, but shows the ability that makes tacklers miss with subtle changes of direction when operating in space. Primarily, he is the type of runner you’d like to see use one cut and get going downhill, making use of his acceleration.

The hottest prospect in the country Chrys Black has been compiling quite the Highlight Reel with jaw dropping touchdown runs. Black has made his case for the number 1# ranked player in his class he is simply put just that good.

Name : Skylar Lendsey-Vann

Position : RB

Measurables: 5’9”-185 lbs

Class : 2026

Team : OG Ducks (CA) 14u

Skinny :

Compact and agile, Vann is difficult to bring down in the open field, and gang-tackling is routinely required. He is a nice blend speed & quickness but will beat down defensive efforts with a relentless attack-mode approach anchored by powerful legs.

Vann, who can also contribute with consistency as a receiver out of the backfield, breaks tackles in bunches but does a great job avoiding contact altogether by relying on excellent vision. His ability to impact an offense as an all-purpose weapon should expedite the quest for High School reps. Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery for a slept on prospect to be viewed in a new light, Vann is now considered top off his class with the movie to the OG Ducks. Skylar has been running with a purpose determined to stamp his name among the class of 2026 Top Backs.

Name : Elijah “Just Chill” Hardy

Position : WR

Measurables: 5’8”-142 Lbs

Class : 2026

Team : Lambo (FL) 13u

Skinny :

Diminutive but deadly in an aerial attack, Hardy will exploit any weaknesses he uncovers within an opposing defense. The Miami Gardens Ravens (Miami,Fl) star is among Youth football’s most impressive route-runners , matching extremely quick feet with a seasoned understanding of how to settle into downfield seams.

He is an absolute technician at the snap, gaining necessary separation that helps him overcome a typical size disadvantage, and completes plays with one of this class’ most reliable sets of hands. Hardy averaged about 25.3 yards per catch during this 13u run at pulling in touchdown receptions. You can never deny this kids versatility or will to be great he went from a star RB to star WR and didn’t miss a beat. With a knack for the big plays Just Chill is one of the most dangerous playmakers in his class doesn’t matter what coverage you throw at him, he gets its done.

Name : Maliq Allen

Position : RB

Measurables: 5’7”-165 Lbs

Class : 2026

Team : LA Rampage (CA) 13u

Skinny :

Maliq Allen is nice combination of breakaway speed & raw power, which can be harnessed and molded to an even greater extent once he’s in the daily presence of a high school football staff, sets the tone for how he approaches each play. There is absolutely no hesitancy in his rushing style, particularly when he attacks the line of scrimmage, Allen is a one-cut-and-go back who avoids wasted motion. The instinctiveness of his first steps set him up nicely for lengthy runs, which he often finishes with authoritative contact.

He is in my eyes 4.7 or 4.8 forty-yard-dash runner, but the speed is slightly deceptive because it’s easy to become enamored and concerned with the power aspects of his game. When Allen finds daylight, he’s a definite threat to reach the end zone from 40-60 yards out. Due to his straight-line speed, Allen is an equally impressive returning kicks providing his team with great field position or 6 on the scoreboard. He’s at his best when heading upfield without much lateral movement, instead aiming to explode into rushing lanes. 2021 has seen this X-factor take the nation by storm swiss cheesing his way thru defenses collecting multiple touchdowns a game. Even with the hot start Allen has had, he is only going to get better with the run the LA Rampage is on.

Name : Noah Merriweather

Position : ATH

Measurables: 5”7”-130 lbs

Class : 2027

Team : Dogs United (GA) 12u

Skinny :

Noah Merriweather is fast & agile enough to provide breakaway possibilities on every play. His size raises questions about durability in the backfield but makes him a tough cover out of the slot.

He slips into space with elite shiftiness and prolongs plays by wiggling past defenders. Merriweather is a special weapon for any passing attack because he can quickly turn a toss or seven-yard slant into a 40-yard sprint that ignites his squad. His performance at Southern hospitality didn’t raise any concerns about a possible future at receiver. Merriweather destroys angles with his blazing speed, his burst thru the hole once he gets a crease is second to none. Then you start to see his playmaking ability once he enters the second level and cuts away from defenders with speed that should verify this speed demon 40-yard dash time of at least a 4.6 to 4.7 seconds. Folks were talking about a 12- or 13-year-old that’s a walking 6 points given the right angle, he is that explosive people. Don’t forget the name with this type of speed this kid is sure to be blazing up track meets.

Name : Naquan Perry

Position : ATH

Measurables: 5’9”-153 Lbs

Class : 2026

Team : Motor City Jags (MI)

Skinny :

Naquan Perry is an elusive rusher who doesn’t require much space to slip past the defense in search of daylight. His short-area quickness complements a formidable frame that makes it difficult for opponents to haul him down in the open field.

He will out-sprint the speediest defensive backs at the next level, but his acceleration is impressive. Perry can slam into a crowd along the trenches and burst through to the second level, setting the stage for a possible future as an every-down back. He catches the football cleanly when called upon to make plays in the flat or on designed screens. Perry has provided the Motor City Jags with a nice compliment to their phenom QB C.J Sadler, this budding star takes full advantage of his opportunities racking up some pretty impressive numbers.

Name : Breyon Williams

Position : ATH

Measurables: 5’8”-174 Lbs

Class : 2026

Team : Watkins Hornets (DC) 13U

Skinny :

Breyon Williams a two-way standout, is likely to land at either receiver or defensive back in high school. His agility and athleticism make him a viable candidate to create an impact at either position.

Though he isn’t an elite burner, Williams makes up plenty of ground in a short time and is capable of tracking down opponents along the sideline or outracing a safety down the seam. His routes are relatively crisp and he puts in quality effort to keep defensive backs off-balance. If he lands on defense, cornerback is the probable destination. If were speaking of the most clutch performers this year Breyon is atop of that list. Williams in the highly ranked match ups have turned in X-factor like numbers averaging multiple touchdowns in the countries biggest of games. This kid doesn’t turn down a challenge and never thinks he is too big for the team, case in point he guards the opposing teams top WR and let’s just say QB’s don’t target him. If Youth Football were giving out a Heisman trophy you can bet your bottom dollar Breyon would be a finalist.

Name : Tarvail “Peetho” Mathis

Position : RB

Measurables: 5’7”-198 lbs

Class : 2026

Team : Gwen Cherry (FL) 14u

Skinny :

Though some have questioned would Tarvail Mathis return to 2019 form after limited playing time playing up last year? One thing you can’t question is his talent level on a game-by-game basis, there’s no denying Peetho would be a featured running back on any youth football team across America he is that good. He takes on tacklers and regularly leaves them grabbing at grass.

He displays big-play potential wherever he lines up on the field, and the prospect of trying him out in the slot from time to time will be alluring at the next level. His quickness & top end speed enables him to build up steam and break tackles in the defensive secondary. A no nonsense runner who doesn’t hesitate to punish defenders if the situation calls for it. So far this year Peetho has put himself in position to be in the debate as top RB in his class numbers & highlight reels don’t lie. Not to mention this kid has already received his 1stCollege offer via FAU. So when you’re mentioning the top backs in the Class of 2026 you wouldn’t be wrong starting out mentioning Tarvail “Peetho” Mathis Jr.

Name : Trent Mosley

Position : ATH

Measurables: 5’10”-155 lbs

Class : 2026

Team : O.C Buckeyes (CA)

Skinny :

Trent Mosley is a prospect who requires substantial growth in a few facets before he can become a successful high school contributor, but the pieces are in place for him at cornerback. Mosely  is quick enough to comfortably play an off-man technique. His acceleration allows him some wiggle room in coverage, and he can catch up to the receiver when the ball is released, vying for possession.

He gets an effective press at the line, due in large part to his confidence in his ability & physical prowess, something that will send his stock up with time. Mosely still fights for real estate, establishing himself downfield with exceptional footwork and hip fluidity that ranks among the best of cornerbacks who attended Southern Hospitality.

Trent Mosley also shows great potential playing wide receiver. He brings an ideal blend of athleticism and burst to the position, beating defensive backs deep time and time again. His change-of-direction speed makes a huge impact during route-running progression and enables him to gain separation. If the quarterback can hit Mosely in stride, he’s a hard man to track down. A RNR Top 100 highly ranked 7th grader last year, Mosely has came into 2021 with his sights set on the 1# spot and his play emphatically reflects that. Guess that’s why the University of Buffalo extended this young phenom his 1st official college offer.

Name : Lavar Keys

Position : WR

Measurables: 5’10”-150 lbs

Class : 2026

Team : Showcase Sharks (MD) 13u

Skinny :

Lavar Keys etched his place among the elite pass-catchers of this class. He picks apart defensive coverage at every level of the field and can come up with big catches on a variety of routes. He’s an upright runner who presents a big target for his passer. Keys is a tactician at finding ways to get open.

His get-off is purposely slow-paced at times, drawing the defensive back near before he bursts beyond into a clearing. Keys also uses upper-body movements to throw off opponents, including an effective shimmy with his shoulders.  Keys ability to gain separation in a variety of ways makes him a major deep-ball threat. He adjusts well to the trajectory of a pass and smoothly makes improvisational adjustments to get underneath the ball.

His ability to pull down contested passes is also a big plus. He plucks the ball out of the air at its highest point and rarely allows it to approach his chest plate. Keys after-the-catch skills should improve as he develops physically. There’s a lot to like about his chances in the red zone, where he can read and react based on what the defense shows him before slipping into space. The best kept secret in Youth Football Lavar Keys is a nightmare to opposing defenses his ceiling is thru the roof remember the name.

Name : Decarlo Prince

Position : WR

Measurables : 6’1”-163 Lbs

Class : 2026

Team : Akron Armor (OH) 13u

Skinny :

Many top receiver prospects possess an elite mix of size and speed, but Decarlo Prince takes it to another level and will enter high school already at 6’1″, 163 pounds a high school ready frame. His acceleration is tremendous for a tall athlete, and he gains yards in a hurry as a result of long strides. Right now, the best thing he does as a receiver is chase down deep balls.

Prince gradually gains position downfield and hauls in the ball a stride or two beyond coverage. He can also reach back with long arms to retrieve an underthrown toss.

Prince is a big play Receiver averaging touchdown receptions of 25 yards per this season, providing evidence of his field-stretching skills. He uses fantastic athleticism to leap up and pull-down highlight receptions, he extends and high point the ball on a regular basis, this phenom has the upside to blossom into an elite all-around receiver. There’s room for a lot of growth in his game, creating an abundance of promise for this super talented X-factor.

Name : Malaki Davis

Position : RB

Measurables: 5’5”-135 lbs

Class : 2029

Team : OG Ducks (CA) 11u

Skinny :

No running back brings a more well-rounded skill set to the field than Malaki Davis, placing him among the nation’s premier difference-makers in this class. He excels between the tackles and along the outside edge while providing a reliable short-area outlet in the passing game. He is a simply hard to bring down, churning through tackles with a powerful lower body that allows room for growth at the next level. Davis puts defenders on their backsides by exploding with proper pad level at the point of contact and dishes out a devastating stiff arm.

Power is the pillar of Davis success as a rusher, but it’s just part of the package. He bursts downfield in a hurry and exploits space for sizable gains. Davis also picks his holes appropriately, displaying patience as blockers pave a path. Behind arguably the best offensive line Davis has terrorized defenses in his quest to lead his team to arguably a undisputed National Championship.
